These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VocaTok app and related services provided by VocaTok ("VocaTok," "we," "our," or "us").
By downloading, accessing, or using VocaTok, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Acceptance and Use of the App
VocaTok is a vocabulary learning app for personal, non-commercial use. We give you a limited, non-transferable, revocable permission to use the app under these Terms.
2. User Content and Acceptable Use
You may create, import, save, or manage content in VocaTok, including vocabulary, notes, tags, collections, stories, and related study materials.
You are responsible for the content you add and for making sure you have the right to use, import, share, or export it.
You must not use VocaTok to:
- break the law or violate the rights of others
- upload or distribute harmful, abusive, deceptive, or unlawful content
- interfere with the app's operation, security, billing, or availability
- misuse ads, purchases, subscriptions, or third-party features
3. Premium Features and Billing
VocaTok may offer paid features, subscriptions, or one-time purchases.
If you make a purchase:
- payment is handled by Apple, Google, or the relevant platform billing system
- pricing, taxes, renewals, cancellations, and refunds may be governed by platform rules
- subscription management may need to be completed through your app store account
We may update premium features, pricing, or availability over time.
4. Ads and Third-Party Services
The free version of VocaTok may include ads. Some features also rely on third-party services, such as subscription providers, advertising providers, translation or text-to-speech providers, and external dictionary or pronunciation sources.
We do not control third-party services, third-party content, or their policies. Your use of those features may also be subject to separate third-party terms.
5. Availability and Educational Use
We may update, pause, or discontinue any part of VocaTok at any time.
VocaTok is a study tool. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, translation accuracy, pronunciation accuracy, dictionary completeness, or any specific learning result.
6. Disclaimer and Limited Liability
VocaTok is provided "as is" and "as available."
We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. If something goes wrong, our liability will be limited to the amount you paid for VocaTok, if any.
7. Changes and Contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the date above and, where appropriate, provide notice in the app or through the relevant app store listing. Your continued use of VocaTok after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
